According to Forbes’ list of the world’s richest people in 2024, there are 2,781 billionaires on the list, with a collective worth of 14.2 billion dollars. This is an increase of 141 over the previous year.

Unsurprising

Taylor Swift, who hits $1.1 billion, is among the most well-known entries on a list that, contrary to common belief, does not include Elon Musk at the top. Of course, the well-known singer’s wealth is very different from the wealthy South African-born businessman’s. Whatever the case, Swift is one of the wealthiest people in the planet.

The Arnault family business conglomerate, with a staggering worth of $233 billion, boasts ownership of renowned brands like Louis Vuitton and Sephora.

2. Elon Musk (United States)
