The World’s 100 Most Powerful Women, the ultimate audit of the foremost CEOs and legendary entrepreneurs, heads of state, pioneer philanthropists, and policymakers who are solving society’s most intractable challenges, was released on December 7 by Forbes.

For the third year in a row, Indian Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has been named to Forbes’ annual list of the world’s most powerful women. Sitharaman, who is currently ranked 37th, was ranked 41st in 2020 and 34th in 2019.
