Design
After the OnePlus 9 came out, the first thing that stood out was how much it looked like the OnePlus 8T, which came out before it. Both cars look exactly the same from the front, especially. Like the OnePlus 8T and its older brother, the 9 Pro, the alert slider and other buttons on the 8T have a smooth feel. The bottom of the phone has a Type-C USB port, a tray for dual-SIM cards, and a speaker.
The main screen is 6.5″ AMOLED, just like the one on the OnePlus 8T. It works well enough to support a 120Hz refresh rate and a full-HD+ resolution. A good fingerprint sensor is also built into the screen.
The back of the OnePlus 9 looks like the back of the OnePlus 9 Pro, except that the back of the OnePlus 9 Pro has more sensors, a straight camera bump, and the OnePlus logo.
Display
The screen on the regular OnePlus 9 is completely flat, while both the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro had curved screens. You can care about that or not. Some people like curved screens, some don’t mind them, and others hate them with a passion. In any case, the screen is 6.5 inches and has a ratio of 20:9 and a resolution of 2400 x 1080. It’s an OLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate and bright colors.
