5 nail arts you can do at home!
You spend hours staring at the coolest nail art DIYs possible online, and then you think to yourself, “Can I do it myself?” We don’t know about that, but what we do know is that these Nail Art designs that we are going to share will definitely save the beauty bill and you can do it all in the comfort of your home!

1. Shaded Stripes
It’s as simple as it looks.
You will need:
- 3 nail polish colors of your choice
- an adhesive tape
- Transparent top layer
First step: Apply the base coat, let it dry.
Second step: Place the tape strips at an angle and then apply the second layer which is different from the first layer. Let it dry completely, then carefully remove the tape.
Third step: Re-slant the tapes and then apply the third coat which is different from the second coat. Let it dry completely, then carefully remove the tape.
Fourth step: Apply the transparent top coat to seal it.
You can choose other shades or combinations that you like to have this nail art done. So let your creative juices flow!
2. Polka dots
It is the simplest design you can recreate in minutes.
You will need:
- 3 nail polish colors of your choice including white
- A toothpick
- Transparent top layer
First step: Leave one finger of your choice and apply the nail polish of your choice.
Second step: Apply the other shade to that one finger without nail polish. Let it dry.
Third step: Take a toothpick and dip the back in the white enamel and start making random white dots.
Fourth step: Apply a top coat to seal it in.
The best thing about this nail art is that it is simple and will look good with everything you wear.
3. Tense nail
While neon is still popular, you can make the most of it in this easiest nail art of all!
You will need:
- A transparent base layer
- A band
- A neon-colored nail polish of your choice
First step: Apply the base coat to all nails. Let it dry.
Second step: Take the tape on the tip of your nail to form the V shape. Now apply the neon color in the V shape. Let it dry. Apply a second one if necessary.
Third step: Carefully remove the tape and seal it with a top coat.
You can choose a contrast color for the base if you want, but if you want the neon to stand out, transparent fur works well.
4. Half moon nail art
A refreshing take on the ordinary French manicure. If you’re open to trying anything out of the box, here’s what to do!
You will need:
- Silver or a metallic polish
- Navy / Black Polish
- 10 reinforcement stickers
- Transparent top layer
First step: Apply 2 coats of silver or another metallic paint of your choice. Let the nail polish dry completely.
Second step: Check if the nail polish has dried. Now place the reinforcement sticker on each nail outside the moon of your nail. You can determine the size of the mane you want, make sure they are consistent for all nails. Once they’re in place, press them to make sure they’re firm.
Third step: Now paint the top half of your nails with the navy blue/black polish. Let it dry completely.
Fourth step: Now carefully pull off the reinforcement strips and seal them with a topcoat.
This is the easiest French Manicure you would do and yes, no high salon bills! Guaranteed!
5. Make an overview of nail art
Seen on the catwalks, you only need 2 nail polish colors to achieve this classy nail art. Don’t believe us? Check it out for yourself!
You will need:
- 2 nail polishes; a nude and a hot pink
- Transparent top layer (optional)
First step: Apply the outline shade i.e. the bright pink nail polish on your nail. Let it dry completely.
Second step: Once the base coat has dried, fill in the nude shade, leaving a small pink gap around the cuticle and sides. Make sure you get it right the first time. Optionally, you can seal the paint with a top coat.
And that’s how you do it!
