Antim Box Office Day 2 Morning Occupation: Aayush Sharma Led Crime Drama Opens A Little Better Than Yesterday

Antim is certainly a slow starter, but since word of mouth is good, the film is witnessing the effect in numbers. Starring Aayush Sharma as the anti-hero, the film has a cash register magnet like Salman Khan in it. Let’s see how much pull these factors generate on Day 2.

If it wasn’t good, the film put a fair amount on opening day. The need of the hour was sort of a growth over the remaining weekend. Fortunately, the film shows positive signs when we look at the morning occupation.

Speaking of day 2, Antim has witnessed a morning occupancy rate of 18-20% across the country. It is a slight increase compared to yesterday’s average occupancy of 15%. Of course, it is definitely not close when compared to the status of Salman Khan movies. But as of yesterday, reviews have been circulating stating that the film is totally Aayush Sharma’s show. So the effect is clearly visible!

Nevertheless, Antim will definitely pick up from afternoon shows and perform best on the night shows as tomorrow is Sunday.

Aided by Mahesh Manjrekar, the film also stars Mahima Makwana, Sachin Khedekar, Upendra Limaye and others in key roles.

Meanwhile, Salman Khan recently said he was shocked to see his brother-in-law and actor Aayush Sharma’s physical transformation from his debut film LoveYatri to Antim.

Suggesting the police officer to shut down with Rahuliya of Aayush, Salman said: “I was shocked, there has been a huge transformation. He has worked so hard on the film that his work will be appreciated.”

Director Mahesh Manjrekar also added that Aayush has worked very hard on the physical transformation. Aayush had been following a strict diet and training for months to achieve the results.
