Prelude To Assassin’s Creed 1 End
The protagonist, Altaïr Ibn-La’Ahad, is sent on a mission to kill nine individuals to rectify his mistake, which was a failed assassination mission to retrieve an ancient artifact and regain his previous position and his honor by his mentor Al Mualim. The nine people he must kill are:
- Tamir – Arms Dealer
- Garnier de Nablus – A mad doctor and the grandmaster of Knights Hospitalier.
- Talal – Leader of a gang that enslaves people
- Abu’l Nuquod – Rich merchant and regent of Damascus.
- William V, Marquess of Montferrat – Cruel and abusive regent of Akko.
- Majd Addin – A Tyrant of Jerusalem
- Master Sibrand – A paranoid grand master of the Teutonic Knights.
- Jubair al Hakim – A scholar from Damascus who wants to destroy all written knowledge.
- Robert de Sablé – A Grand Master of the Knights Templar.
After killing every nine individuals, Altaïr discovers that they were all Templars. They were looking for the Apple of Eden, a divine artifact and one of the many Pieces of Eden. When Altaïr kills Sable, he finds out that his mentor Al Mualim was also involved. He teamed up with the Templars to find the Apple. Sablé reveals that Al Mualim betrayed both orders to keep the Apple to himself. Altaïr was just a pawn in Mualim’s game to defeat his enemy and reach Apple.
