Assassin’s Creed Revelations end declared
Ezio Auditore is undoubtedly one of the best characters in the series. That’s why the Italian Assassin deserves more than one game. We saw Ezio as a man in the first game, Assassin’s Creed 2, but as the game progresses, we see the boy grow into a man. Then, in the second game, we see him grow into a much more serious role and become the mentor of the Italian Brotherhood. In the final game of the trilogy, Ezio is an old and wise man who travels in search of answers. AC Revelations has tied up a lot of loose ends in the past three games. However, the intertwined plot caused a lot of confusion, especially the conclusion of the game. So let’s explain the ending of Assassin’s Creed Revelations.
Assassin’s Creed Revelations is the fourth game in the AC franchise and the third in the Ezio trilogy. It came out in 2011 and became a huge hit, just like the previous Assassin’s Creed episodes. In this game, we not only get to see the current protagonist Desmond Miles, but also the beloved Italian Assassin Ezio. However, the game also features another favorite character from the series, and it is none other than Altair, the protagonist of the first Assassin’s Creed game. Like most AC titles, Revelations also came out as a cross-platform game, as it was playable on Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and Windows.
What’s Happening in Assassin’s Creed Revelations?
The current plot of Assassin’s Creed Revelations picks up where the second game in the Ezio trilogy ended. Desmond goes into a comatose state after killing Lucy Stillman under the influence of Juno in the previous match. Shaun Hasting watches Lucy’s funeral while Rebecca takes Desmond’s body to his father William Miles, who advises placing Desmond back in Animus to heal. Meanwhile, Desmond’s consciousness is trapped in a database called Black Room, along with the consciousness of Clay Kaczmarek, better known as Subject 16.
Clay explains that Desmond’s mind has been split due to the use of Animus. Therefore, he must relive the memories of his ancestors, Altair Ibn-La’Ahad and Ezio Auditore de Firenze, so that Animus can separate his memories from those of his ancestors. Desmond begins to reminisce about Ezio’s memories, and the memories begin three years after the events of Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood. Now in his fifties, Ezio is a Master Assassin who travels to Masyaf to an ancient Assassin tower to discover the secrets of the world and the ancient war between Templars and Assassins.
