For which he had to go to great lengths to look like an elderly person. One artist does this by increasing his weight and the other artist by decreasing his weight. Many artists have to change the color of their skin, while many artists are taught to shave their hair.
Likewise, Amit Bhatt had to shave his head to play Champaklal Jayantilal Gada. But you will be surprised to know that Champaklal Jayantilal Gada had his head shaved about 283 times in the early stages of the show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. In an interview on the YouTube channel The Moi Blog, he mentioned that he should shave his head every 2 to 3 days. Because he had shaved his head with blood so many times, he also started getting a skin infection on his head. Amit Bhatt followed the doctor’s advice after contracting a skin infection, after which the doctor forbade him to shave his head.
In the first episodes of the Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah show, you must have seen that Champaklal Jayantilal Gada used to look bald. But when the doctor forbade him to shave his head, the show’s leading team advised him to wear a wig and perform. After this, Champaklal Gada i.e. Amit Bhatt also acted in many episodes by applying Vic. But after a few days, he started having trouble applying the wig. After which you must have seen that in the current episode, Champaklal Gada is seen wearing a Gandhi cap. But whether Amit Bhatt played the character bald or wore a Gandhi cap he played the character Champaklal, in both looks he performed very well and made the audience laugh a lot.
