Fringe can be styled in many different ways depending on the look you are trying to achieve. But our favorites are the fringe bags we saw at various shows and stores. So we’ve discovered easy steps to turn that old baby carrier into a new one with fringes!

Here’s how to do it:

Step 1: Get a chain with gold metal fringe and an old purse.

Step 2: Using the jewelry pliers, remove the jump rings and clasps at both ends of the chain.

Step 3: Add the fringe chain to the front flap of the bag. Usually purses have a fabric lining on the inside, so use a thread that matches the lining and sew the top part of the chain to the fabric.

The chain should align evenly on the flap. Secure the ends so that the weight of the chain does not pull off the bag by itself.

Now you have your gold fringe wallet ready!
