The movie ‘Pangharun’, directed by Mahesh Manjrekar and produced by Zee Studios, is coming to the audience on February 4. Amol Bavdekar, Gauri Ingawale, Rohit Phalke, Vidyadhar Joshi, Surekha Talwalkar will play the lead roles in the film.

Mahesh Manjrekar and Zee Studios have different equations of success. Excellent and successful works of art like ‘Kaksparsh’ and ‘Natsamrat’ are examples of this. The pre-independence period, the natural beauty of Konkan and a wonderful love story that takes place there will come to the audience. The musical trailer of the movie was well-received by the audience. Hitesh Modak, Dr Music by Salil Kulkarni, Pawandeep Rajan and Ajit Parab and lyrics by Vaibhav Joshi, these songs made a home in the minds of the audience. The songs ‘Hi Anokhi Gath’ and ‘Ilusa Ha Deh’ from the film got millions of views on social media.

The film was also selected for several film festivals. At the 18th Third Eye Asian Film Festival, 28th Austin International Film Festival, Mami International Film Festival, the film ‘Pangharun’ won the hearts of the audience. He also bagged the prestigious Indian Film Award in the Chitrabharati Indian Cinema Competition at the Bangalore International Film Festival.

Speaking about the new film, director Mahesh Manjrekar said, “A work of art is one that is very close to the director. For me, ‘Panghurun’ is a very close movie. Covering is the same story.
