After a year of delay, Halo Infinite will be released in its entirety for PC and Xbox players.
Following the release of multiplayer after a surprise beta launch last month, the campaign sees the return of Master Chief some seven years after the release of Halo 5: Guardians.

When is Halo Infinite coming out? Halo Infinite Release Time in UK/GMT, CEST, EST and PST Explained
The Halo Infinite release date is Wednesday, December 8, with the same release time in all regions and both PC and Xbox platforms.
Halo Infinite release times are as follows for your region:
- UK: 6:00 PM (GMT)
- Europe: 7 p.m. (CEST)
- US East Coast: 1:00 PM (EST)
- US West Coast: 10am (PST)
This means for people in Europe that you have to wait until the end of the working day before you can start playing. Great if you don’t have a day off, but frustrating if you’re hoping to start playing as soon as you wake up.

Halo Infinite pre-load and download size explained
Not only do you have to wait until the end of the day in Europe to start playing, but preloading Halo Infinite also has its complications.
On PC, you can preload the Halo Infinite campaign through the Xbox app. When you search for Halo Infinite, there are two entries: one for the campaign (it says ‘campaign’ in parentheses) and the other for the free multiplayer.
Whether you’ve bought the campaign or are playing through Game Pass, pre-load is now available, with a size of 62.78 GB.
On Xbox consoles, there is currently no method to preload the game at the time of writing. Only the multiplayer version of the game is available, with no campaign option as an add-on or as a separate download like on PC. (We’ve tried to find it on both the console and Xbox phone app, but no luck; the Xbox Game Pass app also has a campaign item, but it’s not downloading anything right now.)
It is very possible that the Xbox console pre-load will become available before the above release times.
As for the download size of Halo Infinite, expect it to weigh around 62.78 GB from the PC, which is likely to be in addition to the 25.9 GB from the multiplayer.
