Bengaluru: Heavy rain ravaged Karnataka’s Bengaluru on Sunday evening, affecting vehicular traffic and causing flooding in parts of the city. Manyata Tech Park, located in the Nagawara area of the city, witnessed intense flooding, with roads looking like streams.
Images have surfaced of flooding in Manyata Tech Park, one of the largest technology parks in the capital. A video showed roads near the tech park being completely submerged after the downpour. Some photos showed motorists driving through thick layers of water on the flooded roads.
It has been learned that some workers are being turned back because vehicles cannot reach their office buildings as roads have become impassable due to extreme flooding.
It should be noted that according to official data, since November 1, the deaths of at least 24 people in Karnataka have been caused by rain-related incidents.
According to officials of the Karnataka Disaster Management Authority (KDMA), rains have completely damaged a total of 658 homes since the beginning of this month.
