Sarayu is an Indian film actress who mainly works in the Mollywood film and television industry. She started her acting career in films such as: Chakkara Muthu and Veruthe Oru Bharya. In 2009 she made her debut as a lead role in the film Kappal Muthalaali directed by hahaha. Her acting Kappal Muthalaali film gained fame among Malayalam audience.
In the same year she made her first Tamil film Kadhalukku Maranamillai. Sarayu played a prominent role in the Yaanai Tamil movie which was released in 2022. She also appeared on a few music albums including Sooryakanthi, Monchulla Painkili and Kungumam. Sarayu also starred in a number of TV series such as Velankani Mathavu, Manaporutham and more.
She has worked as an actress, director, producer and lyricist for over 40 Malayalam films. She has appeared in a number of TV reality shows such as Vivel Big Break, Let’s Dance, Comedy Stars and Laughing Villa Season. As a writer she published some books called Njyayaraazhchakale Snehicha Penkutty (Malayalam) for Girl Who Loves Sundays. Together with Disha Foundation, she does charity for the needy.
