Sonic Boom’s TV Animation Gets ‘Full Series’ Steelbook Blu-ray Release In March

If you were a fan of the Sonic Boom games, you may have also seen the animated TV series. While Blu-rays of every season were already available, NCircle Entertainment has now announced that it will be releasing a steelbook of the “complete series.”

It will be released on March 8 next year and will include Season 1 and Season 2 on a five-disc Blu-ray set. This release also includes an updated cover and pre-orders are now available on Amazon for $59.99 or your regional equivalent. Here’s the official description:

“It’s a Sonic you’ve never seen before – an ensemble comedy that makes fun of telling action-adventures, yet delivers a lot of adrenaline! Wherever he goes and whatever he has to deal with, Sonic the Hedgehog is assisted by his sidekick, Tails and his friends Knuckles, Amy and Sticks and, of course, attacked by his nemesis, Dr. Eggman.”

Apart from each episode, these discs will include some special features (Sonic Boom vs. Final Animation, original trailers), DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1, and subtitle support.
