Sunny Leone in Motichoor Chaknachoor
Sunny Leone is a familiar face to fans of Bollywood movies. She has been a mainstay of the Indian film industry since she made her debut in Jism 2, back in 2012. She has amazed fans with her stunning looks and impressive acting talents.
Recently, Sunny has spoken about what she is up to this year. She has been enjoying time with her family. She is also looking forward to progressing with her career following her impressive performance in last year’s “Motichoor Chaknachoor”.
Motichoor Chaknachoor
The comedy-drama “Motichoor Chaknachoor” was released in November 2019. It was the first film for new director Debamitra Biswal and it gave Sunny Leone an excellent opportunity to show the world how gifted she is as a comic actress.
The lead actors in the film Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Athiya Shetty also received significant amounts of praise for their performances in the movie which was produced by Viacom18 Studios, Rajesh Bhatia and Kiran Bhatia.
The story of Motichoor Chaknachoor is a popular and romantic one. It follows Pushpinder Tyagi who is a 36-year-old working in Dubai and looking for someone to marry back home in Bhopal.
The story becomes more complicated as Tyagi meets Anita “Annie” Awasthi who is his neighbor. She wants to find a man who is settled outside of India.
Adding to the fun and drama are other well-known Indian actors including Vibha Chibber, Navni Parihar, Vivek Mishra, Karuna Pandey, Sanjeev Vats, Abhishek Rawat, Sapna Sand and Usha Nagar.
The movie was certainly another good stepping stone in the career of Sunny Leone. The success is set to continue for the popular star.
After Motichoor Chaknachoor
Following on from her enjoyable role in “Motichoor Chaknachoor”, Sunny Leone has two more movies set for release in 2020.
“Rangeela” is a Malayalam comedy-drama that is due to be released on 15 Oct 2020. The movie is directed by Santhosh Nair and is Sunny’s Malayalam debut.
“Veeramahadevi” is a very different type of movie that presents a perfect opportunity for Sunny to show off her acting range. The multilingual period movie is of the war genre and is due to be released on 27 Nov 2020.
Sunny plays the lead in the movie so there is a lot of pressure on her to deliver a top-rate performance. Given her obvious abilities, this should not present too much of a problem.
She has certainly worked hard preparing for the role. This preparation has included receiving training in sword fighting and martial arts. The training was provided by professionals from Mumbai.
Sunny Leone is one of the most popular talents in the Indian film industry. She is looking forward to building on her previous successes, in movies like last year’s “Motichoor Chaknachoor”.
Fans are already looking forward to Sunny’s next releases. They are two very different movies which will show Sunny’s range of talent. They also represent another important step in her career journey which will hopefully continue for several years to come.
