United States GP: when can you watch the F1 race, qualifying and practice only live on Sky Sports

Evening tee times: 10pm for Saturday qualifying; 8pm lights out for Sunday’s Grand Prix; live on Sky Sports F1 and Main Event F1 back in America for the first time in two years with only six points between Verstappen and Hamilton

It’s time for the return of one of the biggest events of every Formula 1 season – the United States Grand Prix.

Back on the calendar after missing out in 2020 due to the pandemic, the Circuit of the Americas in Austin has established itself as one of the sport’s flagships with the required razzmatazz to deal with racing around the undulating track in Texas. capital.

Indeed, this weekend marks the first of three races in America over the course of the next four weeks, meaning that evening start times will return for the key sessions for the British public on Sky Sports F1:

• US GP Qualifying is on Saturday at 10pm, with extensive build up from 8.30pm
• The US Grand Prix starts on Sunday at 8 p.m., the build-up at 6:30 p.m

Lewis Hamilton is the most successful driver in US GP history with six wins, five of which at COTA, and will need another here if he is to regain Red Bull’s Max Verstappen lead in the championship.
