Venom 2 Box Office Day 4 (India): Stable Over Extended Weekend
Box Office – Venom: Let There Be Carnage Remains Stable All Weekend (Photo Credit – IMDb)It was a good weekend for the box office in general, as films in several languages were able to bring in business. If the Punjabi film Honsla Rakh kept audiences engaged in Punjab and Delhi NCR and then screened the Hollywood film Venom: Let There Be Carnage in theaters, there were footsteps nationally as well.
The movie did even better with $12 million* comes in in four days (it saw a release on thursday) with average collections staying in 3 million euros zone.
There was no big jump on any of the days (except Dusshehra on Friday when there was a peak), but then there is no fall either. Therefore, it would be interesting to see what the weekdays will look like from now on.
Ideally, Venom: Let The Carnage Begin should at least stay over 2 million euros mark both Monday and Tuesday. That would be the true testimony of the film holding out and would ensure the extended first is here 18 crores at least mark.
If that turns out not to be the case, Venom: Let There Be Carnage may well emerge as a film that was more frontal in terms of audience numbers and didn’t have much to offer after that. Hope that isn’t the case though.
* Estimates. Last numbers waited
Remark: All collections according to production and distribution sources
