Vivo X70 Series Launch Date Announced In India: Expected Specs
The Vivo X70 series will be launched in India on September 30 at noon. The event will be streamed live on the brand’s official website and YouTube channel, as well as on social media and Flipkart.

The Vivo X70 range consists of standard, Pro and Pro+ variants that debuted in China earlier this month. Aside from the launch date, the availability of the Vivo X70 series Flipkart has also been confirmed. The upcoming smartphones will debut as the successor to the Vivo X60 series that was launched earlier in May this year.
The Indian variants of the Vivo X70 series are likely to keep the same specs as their Chinese counterpart. According to previous reports, only the Vivo X70 Pro and Vivo X70 Pro+ will be launched in India during the upcoming event.
Vivo X70 Pro and X70 Pro Plus Specifications and Features
The Vivo X70 Pro comes with a 6.56-inch curved AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and an on-screen fingerprint scanner. The design of the smartphone is similar to the X60 series, with a rectangular rear camera module and a center-aligned punch cutout with a 32MP front-facing snapper. The X70 Pro is equipped with a coupled 50 MP main camera, 8 MP periscope zoom lens, 12 MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 12 MP portrait photographer.
It is powered by the Exynos 1080 chipset and a 4,500 mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging. It packs up to 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage.
As for the Vivo X70 Pro+, it retains most of the same specs as the X60 Pro+, save for some incremental upgrades. The smartphone has a new rear panel design with an elongated camera island. It has a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a QHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. In the center is a punch cutout for a 32-megapixel selfie camera.
The rear camera setting on the X70 Pro+ is the same as the Pro variant, except that the ultra-wide angle lens is 48MP instead of 12MP. Under the hood, the device is powered by Snapdragon 888 SoC paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It is powered by a 4,500mAh battery with support for 55W and 50W fast wired and wireless charging respectively.
The X70 Pro and Pro+ are also equipped with the brand’s custom Vivo V1 chip that offers several features including noise reduction, MEMC and image processing.
