Big Bang Theory Season 13 Canceled Or Not? Everything That You Want To Know !!
Debuting in 2007, Parson’s Sheldon Cooper was among the first characters cast for The Big Bang Theory, alongside Johnny Galecki’s Leonard. The sitcom’s unaired pilot with a different female lead received primarily negative reviews, leading it to be reshot with Kaley Cuoco’s Penny, Simon Helberg’ Howard, and Kunal Nayyar’s Raj.
By season 4, recurring guest stars Melissa Rauch (Bernadette) and Mayim Bialik (Amy) were promoted to series regulars, fully filling out the cast. The Pasadena-based gang of seven remained tight until the very final episode of the show, which was arguably one of the most touching sitcom finales in recent memory.
Why did Big Bang Theory expect to get canceled?
THE Big Bang Theory has been canceled because star Jim Parsons wanted to leave, it is claimed. According to US reports, the sitcom is ending after its twelfth season because the actor, who plays Sheldon Cooper, decided to “walk away” – despite being offered another two-year contract.
A new series of The Big Bang Theory on Netflix has already been shot down but it has not stopped fans discussing what would happen to the main characters. Creators of the series have confirmed series 13 will not happen any time soon.
Season 13
When CBS announced their 2017-2018 Fall Schedule, CBS Chief Executive Les Moonves announced that Seasons 11 and 12 would not be the last seasons of the show. That would mean that there would possibly be at least a thirteenth season of “The Big Bang Theory”.
It would have premiered in September 2019 and ended in May 2020. However, the season was never confirmed by either CBS, Chuck Lorre, or Bill Prady. As of August 2018, the network was talking about renewing it for the 13th season, but it was not confirmed. CBS eventually confirmed Season 12 would be the last season.
