Easy Steps to Make Neon Rope Belt

Step 1:

You will need one neon rope, each cut into nine pieces double the length of your waist.

Step 2:

You will also need a brooch, pliers, hot wire and glue.

Step 3:

Take 9 strands of neon rope – clump them all together and wrap them tightly at one end with wire.

Step 4:

Use hot glue and glue the ends of the rope. This will prevent them from falling apart.

Step 5:

Separate strands into groups of 3 and braid. Make your braid as long as you want your belt to be.

Step 6:

When you’re done braiding your belt, wrap your ends and trim as needed. Then, just like in the beginning, glue your ends.

Step 7:

Take your brooch and insert the pin through the ends of your belt just below your wire sheaths and close.
